To change your UPI PIN in the Google Pay app, if you donโt have a debit card, you can easily change it through Aadhaar verification. This method can be useful when you have forgotten your UPI PIN or need to change the PIN in an emergency and do not have your debit card.
But itโs important to note that not all banks offer the option to generate a PIN using Aadhaar. Only if your bank offers this feature can you change your UPI PIN without a debit card. Now, letโs learn how to change your UPI PIN without a debit card.
How to change the UPI PIN without a debit card in the Google Pay app?
- First, download the Google Pay app on your phone and then log in.
- On the appโs home screen, tap your profile photo in the top right and select the bank account for which you want to change the UPI PIN.
- After selecting the bank, the account details page will open. Tap the โForgot UPI PINโ option here.
- If your bank supports the Aadhaar verification method, select it to change the PIN.
- Now, enter the first six digits of your Aadhaar number and fill in the required details.
- After the process is complete, an OTP will be sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number. Once you verify it, you will be able to generate a new PIN.
Itโs important to note that this method is only applicable to those who have linked their bank accounts to Google Pay through Aadhaar verification. Furthermore, the Aadhaar card must be linked to the same number as the one attached to your bank account. Only then will you receive an OTP on your phone.
