Eligibility criteria for SBI Clerk 2025
Educational Qualification:
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Final year/semester candidates can apply provisionally but must pass by 31 December 2025.
- Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) holders must complete by 31 December 2025.
Age Limit (as on 1 April 2025):
- Minimum: 20 years
- Maximum: 28 years
- Candidates must be born between 2 April 1997 and 1 April 2005 (both dates inclusive).
- Age relaxation applies as per government norms.
SBI Clerk selection process 2025
The selection process consists of three stages: Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT).
Preliminary Exam (Phase I):
- 100 objective questions for 100 marks
- Duration: 60 minutes
- Sections: English Language (30), Numerical Ability (35), Reasoning Ability (35)
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer
Main Exam (Phase II):
- 190 questions for 200 marks
- Duration: 2 hours 40 minutes
- Sections: General/Financial Awareness (50), General English (40), Quantitative Aptitude (50), Reasoning & Computer Aptitude (50)
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer
Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT):
- Candidates who have not studied the local language in Class 10 or 12 must qualify this test.
