The Union Finance Ministry confirmed that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is modernizing its Complaint Management System using advanced features and AI-based tools.
This upgrade aims to streamline complaint handling and improve customer grievance redressal.

Ombudsman Scheme to Undergo Revision

While answering an unstarred question in the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary said that the RBI is revising the Reserve Bankโ€“Integrated Ombudsman Scheme (RB-IOS) to strengthen and speed up complaint resolution.

Better Training & Capacity Building for Ombudsman Staff

RBI has taken multiple steps to improve internal efficiency:
