Mumbai, September 22: Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan found a sweet way to welcome India’s new tax regime, GST 2.0, which came into effect on Monday. The actor marked the occasion by treating himself and his sister, Kritika Tiwari, to ice creams during their trip to Dubai.
Sharing the celebration at midnight, Kartik posted a cheerful picture on Instagram where the siblings, all smiles, posed inside an ice cream shop, each holding a cone. Captioning the post with his signature humour, he wrote, “GST 2.0 ka celebration toh banta hai Mitro.”
The post quickly went viral, with fans praising the brother-sister bond and lauding Kartik’s wit. Some called them the “best duo,” while others crowned him the “caption king.”
What’s Next for Kartik Aaryan?
On the work front, Kartik was last seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. He is set to reunite with Ananya Panday in the rom-com Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, directed by Sameer Vidwans and produced by Dharma Productions along with Namah Pictures. The film will release in theatres on December 31, 2025, with Kartik playing Ray and Ananya starring as Rumi.
Besides this, Kartik will appear as Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand, an ichchadhaari naag, in Naagzilla, backed by Dharma Productions, scheduled for release on August 14, 2026. He is also working on a new project with filmmaker Anurag Basu.
Kartik’s playful celebration of GST 2.0, combined with his packed film lineup, continues to keep him in the spotlight both on and off-screen.
