Who Gets Fee Waivers?
- Newborns: Issuance/enrolment remains free.
- Children aged 5–7 and 15–17 years: Biometric updates are free (waiver continues); updates remain mandatory at these ages.
What Do These Fees Apply To?
Updates or corrections to name, address, biometrics, and other details after Aadhaar is issued.
Note: To request the home visit update service (Rs. 700), you must email UIDAI as per their procedure.
